High-density polyethylene, a thermoplastic polymer, was used to make the FRP tanks. With a polyester resin foundation and glass and carbon fibre reinforcement, it is created to be strong and long-lasting. It can also withstand chemical attacks better than steel and has an extremely low coefficient of thermal expansion (CTE). The tank is made from 100% recycled fiberglass.
